Optum Specialty Compass is an analytics and reporting platform that provides a comprehensive view of specialty drug spend across both medical and pharmacy benefits. By combining data into a single, interactive experience, Specialty Compass helps clients identify cost drivers, uncover saving opportunities, benchmark performance, and make more informed specialty benefit decisions.

To ease adoption and assist with the steep learning curve, we created a Knowledge center, a glossary of sorts. Here, clients can look up term definitions at chart, page and application level to gain valuable understanding in using the product's many analytics tools.

Another challenging feature we tackled was fully accessible, customizable dashboards. No drag and drop here! Utilizing a grid system, users can "pin" any chart from the application to their dashboard by specifing chart size, order, and titles facilitating "set it once and you're done" configurability.
