About me

I'm a creative at heart, a storyteller, a comedienne, a google-er. I'm humble, empathetic, a little eccentric and I appreciate the unusual and unique. I'm happiest when I'm making something.

Design

Growing up, I took every art class available often concocting elaborate projects that went beyond the initial assignment. My childhood art instructor and I are still friends, go figure. Following high school, I pursued a bachelors in Theatrical Costume Design and designed owned brand clothing at a well known department store. Returning to school, I studied Web Design allowing me to contribute to various projects in Media, Retail, Banking, and Healthcare.

Details & Planning

I ask questions, a lot of questions. That's where the googling comes in. I'm concerned with the details always asking "why" and saying "I wonder". I'm also a planner making it easier to get to a final destination, wherever that may be. Throughout my career I've worked on complex projects with many moving parts. My proclivity to details and planning has ensured my success.

Management & Team Building

At one point in my career I managed a team of 35 direct reports. I've written and facilitated regular department training sessions and mentored numerous colleagues new to their roles. However, I also enjoy getting my hands dirty and doing the work. I believe trust, transparency and open communication builds efficient teams.
